High School Community Leaders

New in 2024, chickadeeds is excited to launch the High School Community Leaders Program!

This new initiative encourages high school students and their guardians to team up and make a meaningful impact in their communities. With just a 10–20 hour annual commitment, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Grow into confident community leaders

  • Develop valuable new skills

  • Forge connections with local non-profit organizations

Chickadeeds will curate volunteer opportunities that align with the group’s passions and interests, while also empowering participants to plan their own service projects. Volunteer work will be completed both collaboratively as a group and independently, offering a balance of teamwork and personal initiative.

At the end of the program, volunteers will be awarded a chickadeeds High School Community Leader Certificate—an excellent addition to college applications, personal and professional development, religious confirmation projects, and a strong testament to their leadership abilities.

Applications for the 2024-25 school year have closed.
